Domenica 27 settembre, presso la basilica cattedrale a Crotone, nell’ambito della stagione concertistica dal titolo “Incontri musicali mediterranei” si svolgerà il concerto del Lacinia Trio. Composto da Francesco Tropea al pianoforte, Giulia Lorenti al flauto e Antonio Silvestro Salvati al violoncello, il Lacinia Trio è di recentissima formazione, nato all’interno del Conservatorio di Musica “S. Giacomantonio” di Cosenza. I tre componenti si propongono di utilizzare il linguaggio musicale per trasmettere le passioni e i sentimenti che i compositori ci hanno lasciato in eredità tramite i propri brani. Prediligono perciò un’esecuzione fedele, all’insegna dell’evocazione delle immagini, delle epoche e delle atmosfere che hanno influenzato i compositori. Il programma della serata prevede l’esecuzione di musiche di Louis Farrenc e Carl Maria von Weber.
On Sunday, September 27, the Main Cathedral of Crotone will host the concert of Lacinia Trio, one of the events making up the programme of the music season “Incontri musicali mediterranei”. The ensemble Lacinia Trio is a recent formation, which has taken shape within the walls of the Conservatory “S. Giacomantonio” of Cosenza. Its member are Francesco Tropea at the piano, Giulia Lorenti at the flute and Antonio Silvestro Salvati at the cello. The three players share the common goal to use the medium of music as a language apt to convey the passions and the complex of feelings that are engraved in the works of past composers.
