In trentamila hanno invaso il Ponte Bucci dell’Università della Calabria a Rende per l’atteso speciale concerto di Cristiano De Andrè che ha ospitato Mauro Pagani e Nello Daniele. Il doppio omaggio a Fabrizio De Andrè e a Pino Daniele, pensato e realizzato per la prima volta per “La Notte dei Ricercatori” dell’Unical, ha fatto il pieno di pubblico ed emozioni. La serata, condotta magistralmente da Gian Maurizio Foderaro di Radio Rai, si è aperta con il saluto del Rettore Gino Mirocle Crisci, che ha ritirato il “Riccio d’Argento” di “Fatti di Musica” realizzato da Gerardo Sacco, assegnato all’Unical per lo speciale evento che ha unito musica, cultura e ricerca. Per questa speciale occasione, Cristiano De Andrè ha sfoderato un concerto straordinario. Il suo inimitabile omaggio al padre, è stato eccezionalmente arricchito da due grandi special guest: l’ex PFM e pluripremiato compositore Mauro Pagani, che collaborò con Fabrizio De Andrè già da “La buona novella” e il cantautore e chitarrista Nello Daniele, fratello del grande Pino. Autentici boati hanno accolto e concluso le esecuzioni di “Don Raffaè” e “Napule è”, i due brani eseguiti da De Andrè, Daniele e Pagani per la prima volta insieme, accompagnati da Osvaldo Di Dio, chitarra, Davide Pezzin, basso, Davide De Vito, batteria. Un incontro eccezionale che ha illuminato di emozioni uniche e indimenticabili la seconda edizione della “Notte dei Ricercatori”. Le circa tre ore di questo concerto unico resteranno tra le pagine più belle ed esaltanti dei live d’autore in Calabria. Soddisfatti ed emozionati a fine serata, insieme ai musicisti, anche il Rettore Crisci, Fabio Vincenzi, delegato alle attività culturali dell’Università della Calabria e il promoter Ruggero Pegna, che ha organizzato proprio per l’Unical questo storico live.

La notte dei ricercatori set up by
Unical, the concert fully met the expectations of its enthusiastic audience. Skillfully hosted by Gian Maurizio Foderaro, the event was opened by an inauguration speech the University Headmaster Gino Mirocle Crisci, who received the “Riccio d’argento” awarded by the organizers of the initiative “Fatti di musica” and handcrafted by goldsmith Gerardo Sacco. Unical was chosen as the winner in recognition of the significance of the event, a special blend of music, culture and university research. Specially for the occasion, Cristiano De Andrè staged an unforgettable concert, conceived as an homage to his father; also on stage as special guests, there were Mauro Pagani, composer and former member of now-disbanded PFM who collaborated with Fabrizio De Andrè for his album “La buona novella”, and the songwriter and guitar player Nello Daniele, brother of the much celebrated Pino. Enthusiastic roars from the audience accompanied the performances of “Don Raffaè” and “Napule è”, two songs that De Andrè, Daniele and Pagani played for the first time together, aided by Osvaldo Di Dio’s guitar, Davide Pezzin’s basso and Davide De Vito’s drums. Theirs was an exceptional on-stage meeting, that managed to fill this edition of La notte dei ricercatori with the warmness of unforgettable feelings. This three-hour concert will be remembered as one of Cristiano De Andre’s best performances in Calabria. The headmaster Crisci, the Cultural Events delegate of the University of Calabria Fabio Vincenzi and the organizer and promoter of the event Ruggero Pegna also declared to have shared in the three artists’ sense of full reward and satisfaction after the concert.
