The exhibition consists of 30 paintings of landscapes and perspectives of nature that will allow us to know and appreciate the painting ability and sensitivity of fra Peppe, the Franciscan priest, born Giuseppe Gabriele Murdaca.
The subjects of his works (flora, fauna and landscapes) lend themselves perfectly to one of his favorite techniques: watercolors.
<< Il Canto del Creato – explains Raffaella Buccieri, critic and art historian – is a summa of image, feeling and faith that gives rise to the link between brother heaven and sister earth, and to an interpretation of art aimed at man who lives the puzzling and increasingly prevalent liquid modernity >>.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until June 19th, 2016 and can be visited at the following times:
Monday to Saturday, from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm;
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 5.00 pm to 8.30 pm
