Museum of Musical Instruments in Reggio: Christmas concerts, December 23rd 11:30am and 6:30pm

During the Christmas season, the Museum of Musical Instruments (MuStruMu) is particularly active. On  December 23rd, in fact, there are two different events, united by the same theme, music!

At 11:30am the Academy Musikalisches, of Melania Scappatura, will present a performance of teachers and students, who will alternate piano, violin and trumpet, matching each instrument to the song, will also participate in the small chorus led by the teacher Rosa Inarta. Admission will be free.

At 6:30 pm, the Con … Certo di Natale will be held, directed by the maestro Enzo Baldessarro with the Lab InJazz that make their music available for the MuStruMu. A concert dedicated to fund raising for the museum.

Songs ranging from blues to swing, from bebop to cool, as well as related genres such as funky and bossa nova. The repertoire consists of original pieces with classic and Mediterranean references and other features from the proposed Jazz repertoire, arranged and directed by the Maestro with particular attention to the stylistic / formal aspect.

Maestro Baldessarro said: “The Museum of Musical Instrument has always given itself to the city, organizing events with depth with just with the simple desire to be a museum institution, spending to promote the values of musical culture of every corner of the planet. On this occasion the InJazz Labs offer their performance as a sign of gratitude.”

Ken Curatola manager of Mustrumu, is enthusiastic about these events: “This is one of the vocations of our structure, ‘welcoming and Sharing’, music and its culture, especially when it comes to extraordinary projects and workshops.”

For Con … Certo di Natale, the MuStruMu contribution will be € 3.50
