La Casa degli Agricoltori 2.0 is a structure located in the Industrial Zone of Crotone designated by the APZ of Calabria and the Coop Bioagrizoo to give young graduates an opportunity to demonstrate their potential and their knowledge with support from the business community agro-zootecnico. The organization was initiated from an emerging awareness by a new, young business culture where the knowledge of generations are projected into the future, blooming a new generation of modern, creative, and innovative entrepreneurs, who are connected to a world needing structure and the tools that may offer some support. A year after the birth of La Casa degli Agricoltori 2.0, with thanks to the synergies brought into play among university students, researchers and companies, emerging are food and nonfood products of great interest that will surely find important commercial areas and be supported by the business community.
Some examples are the production of jams made with ancient fruits, spirits, flavored pastries filled with products exclusively of the territory, the eco-friendly bottles of eco-sustainable extra virgin olive oil, the yogurt and soft cheeses made from the milk of podolica (southern italy’s grey cattle), podolica sauce, flavored oils, natural cosmetics products and other features. In the second week of May, at La Casa degli Agricoltori 2.0 there will be an exhibition of products followed by time dedicated to informative meetings with consultants regarding the innovation needed to set up a development project which consists of working for the company, to build where needed, and to help develop where already established. We are increasingly convinced that the challenge of the future is the economy of knowledge, democratization and socialization of scientific knowledge that will represent for companies a source of innovation, growth, development and employment.
