Il Volo in Soverato, July 14th with their tribute concert “Magical Night”

yescalabria-IL-Volo-minAnother big event in the program for next summer at the Summer Arena of Soverato. After years of trying, promoter Maurizio Senese managed to land the concert, a first in Calabria, for the group Il Volo. Soverato is among the their tour stops for “Notte Magica.” After concerts in other major Italian and European cities, Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble will continue to enchant their audiences this summer with other events along the Peninsula, arriving on July 14th to the Summer Arena, as part of the program established by Esse Emme Senese Music.

The concert in Soverato is a part of the extended world tour which kicked off on March 4th at Radio City Music Hall in New York which will lead the protagonists to Europe starting on April 21st. At the special concert on May 23rd at the Royal Albert Music Hall in London, the temple of the great British music, Mario Biondi will appear on stage as a special guest. Meanwhile the new album of Il Volo, “Magic night – A tribute to the three tenors,” Placido Domingo, has been certified platinum.

This album represents another important milestone in the artistic careers of Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble and their great success in Italy and around the world has shown that their repertoire is not music just for a few, but for all. Their musical line is the Belcanto, fruit of their vocal virtuosity. Their natural gifts along with an innate interpretive expression allows the three young artists in singing popular hits from around the world and thrilling audiences of all ages everywhere.

As for the Summer Arena, with this new concert added to the already rich program of events planned for the year 2017, Soverato has rightfully earned itself the title of the place to be for live music this summer.
