On Sunday, September 27, the Main Cathedral of Crotone will host the concert of Lacinia Trio, one of the events making up the programme of the music season “Incontri musicali mediterranei”. The ensemble Lacinia Trio is a recent formation, which has taken shape within the walls of the Conservatory “S. Giacomantonio” of Cosenza. Its member are Francesco Tropea at the piano, Giulia Lorenti at the flute and Antonio Silvestro Salvati at the cello. The three players share the common goal to use the medium of music as a language apt to convey the passions and the complex of feelings that are engraved in the works of past composers. Their execution is therefore accurate and set on conjuring up all those images and atmospheres that influenced most great composers. The programme of the concert will include music by Louis Farrenc and Carl Maria von Weber.
