One couldn’t possibly dream of winning the most prestigious award as a club only seventeen months old. After just one year since the first official recognition of the Scuderia Ferrari Club of Reggio Calabria, the leaders of Cavallino Rampante have once again rewarded the Reggian club, presented by F1 champion Sebastian Vettel, the trophy for the most beautiful banner of Formula 1 for 2016. In 2015 we saw a win for Reggio with a banner dedicated to the icons of their city, this year the choice was made to feature the Calabrian champion Antonio Fuoco, who has been immortalized by SFC RC, in a banner dedicated to him. In short, for the Reggian Club that trusts in the splendours of their own land, it is synonymous with success. There are in fact three international awards that have been won in a short period of time for the Reggian club which has never been done by any other Ferrari club on the planet, a record that the citizens of the city of the Bronzes are proud of. During the festival at the international go-kart track of Lonato on October 13th, dedicated to clubs from around the world, there were other moments of high intensity for the club led by Natale Romeo and honorary president Lillo Cavallo. Proprio Cavallo, the veteran club, met up wtih Ermanno Cuoghi, chief mechanic during Niky Lauda times, and the legendary Emerson Fittipaldi, dual-champion of the F1 world in the 70s who accompanied his small son to test a go-kart. Two meetings rich in affection and emotion. The same award, coordinated by the director of operations of the SFC, Reggio’s Mauro Apicella, saw Sebastian Vettel participate with clear and sincere enthusiasm in the ceremony: the champion has publicly praised the boys in red from Reggio Calabria, for their intense and passionate activity, that is attracting so much attention in the world of the SFC. President Natale Romeo also participated in the Cico, the meeting of the Presidents of all the world’s 190 clubs, which define the guidelines for the near future and to the evaluation of the agenda commitments already made. Regarding the events calendar, the Scuderia Ferrari Club Reggio Calabria is now preparing for the three days of the Factory Tour (November 11th to 13th), where, in addition to the extraordinary visit of facilities for production of the most famous car in the world, there will be moments of great intensity provided on the Imola track and the Ferrari Museum, with tributes by Ayrton Senna, Gilles Villeneuve, Enzo Ferrari and Marco Simoncelli.
