The Bike Park is meant to be a flagship for the rest area of Donaglie, a park with recreational facilities in the territory of the Town of Cerva (province of Catanzaro). It is a circuit for off-road bikes, 1.210 meters above the sea level and surrounded by the natural beauties of the Sila National Park. “The facilities are all being tested – says the town mayor Mario Marchio – and the circuit should be inaugurated in September”. The dimensions of bikes (which have already arrived in Cerva, provided with the necessary accident-prevention equipment) range from 22 to 28. “In the South of Italy, our structure is rather unique in its kind – says the town mayor with pride – also thanks to the PISL project Euros 350.000 financing we have obtained for its realization. We have worked to offer a pleasurable experience to people of all kinds, it doesn’t matter whether they are children or expert bikers. Everything has been realized in the best possible way, always following the European regulations. We mean to promote the Bike Park so that it will be included in the official itinerary of National bike facilities, becoming an attraction for all Italian two-wheel enthusiasts”.
