The 20th edition of Festival delle Serre is taking place these days in Cerisano (province of Cosenza). Plenty of different events make up its busy programme, and they are all free for attendance.
The Festival will close on October 20: music, theatre and cinema are the elements which make this Calabrial festival cross its regional boundaries and become a nationally significant cultural convention. This year’s musical offering include Trio Rosenberg and Stefano Di Battista, the “musical visions” of the rather eclectic artist Morgan, and Andrea Braido‘s “talking guitar”, which will be featured in a homage to Deep Purple. The other artists to perform are: Rimbamband, Pio and Amedeo (the cheeky guys from TV-show “Le Iene”) with their Orchestra Mancina (Left-handed orchestra), Il parto delle nuvole pesanti ,Sabatum Quartet and Calabrian band Other Voices with their British-style pop-rock music. Gennaro Calabrese’s cabaret show will close the festival.
