On Monday August, 2015 Cerva is ready to offer its delicacies to whomever wants to taste them: it is the day of the “Workshop of fresh home-made pasta”, organized by the local Tourist Office (an institution that has always been engaged in territorial promotion), GAL Valle del Crocicchio and the Township of Cerva. The workshop is aimed at encouraging those who want to visit and savour the tastes of the Presila Catanzarese, an area in the province of Catanzaro. Among the offered foods, visitors will be able to taste “scilatialli”, “mparrettati”, “cuvatiali”, “tagliatelle” and “pappardelle” while listening to good music. The event, which occurs on the same date every year, takes on an even deeper meaning on the occasion of this year’s edition, as a result of its being related to EXPO 2015, whose underlying theme calls to mind one of the basic human rights, highlighted by the Universal Declaration of 1948 and crucial to the future of humankind (which is the right to genuine, balanced and sustainable nourishment).
